The Arts & Culture Trust (ACT) Project Co-ordinator contract basis vacancy

 

The Arts and Culture Trust has been actively serving the arts and culture sector in all nine  provinces of South Africa for 28 years.  The main purpose is to increase the capacity of arts and culture initiatives thereby creating sustainable futures, through the development and investment in innovative, sustainable projects and programmes.

 

Based in Braamfontein, Johannesburg  the ACT has a vacancy for a Project Co-ordinator to work in this hybrid position on six month contractual basis from April to September 2022. Essential basic criteria required of all applicants is a project management qualification and a minimum of five years experience coupled with knowledge of the arts and culture sector.  This programme co-ordination and facilitation role at the ACT is ideally suited to self-motivated individuals who can think on their feet; take initiative and thrive on being part of a small but dynamic team.

 

This position involves the administration of ACT programmes including the management of beneficiary procedures; contracts and agreements; project implementation; marketing and communications; financial management;  logistics; maintaining and evaluation of standards and processes; monitoring and reporting as well as liaising with service providers and being actively supporting activities on the ACT’s digital platforms.
