The 5th Showbiz Entertainment Africa (SEAfrica) conference is an annual event dedicated to the development and growth of the entertainment industry in Africa. With exhibitions and networking sessions, the SEAfrica conference is the ultimate business meeting place for industry start-ups/small business, talent, managers, entrepreneurs, students and other role players in the entertainment industry looking for growth and to stay ahead of the dynamic and ever changing industry.

The event was launched in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2014 and has supplied its audience with a wealth of insight and information from the esteemed speaker panel of industry experts that it’s hosted throughout the years. SEAfrica has since been a pivotal part of the Joburg International Arts Alive Festival.

Following the success of the event at the Joburg Theatre last year, the organisers have elected to take this year’s 5th edition of the event to Soweto Theatre to better engage with the heartbeat of entertainment inspiration in Gauteng. Known for cutting right to the point with the most relevant subject matter this year the program boast topics such as “Doing Business with the SABC – “What you need to know” presented by Head of Industry Development at the SABC, Nirvana Singh, “How to Up Your Online Creative Hustle” presented by hip hop Star turned online entrepreneur, Slikour and “Getting Ready for the 4th Industrial Revolution” presented by a panel of experts and thought leaders ensuring that the audience will leave with learnings that can be practically implemented in their creative entrepreneurship journey.
