Raisonne Publishing (Bryanston) is looking for a full time and experienced Project Manager.

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Facilitate effective communication between Raisonné staff, Directors and Editor-in-Chief – including the arrangement and facilitation of project meetings and the completion of regular progress reports.
  2. Manage the project timeline, making sure deadlines are maintained.
  3. Marketing and PR;
    Develop marketing plans in consultation with the Directors.
    Source advertising quotes, plan schedules and place adverts in consultation with Directors.
    Make sure adverts are print ready, arrange and write press releases.
    Work with Director to secure PR for the project.
  4. Distribution: manage, plan and carry out the distribution of publications, including the management of ordering systems, sales and book launches.
  5. Work with Raisonné writers to facilitate contractual agreements and liaise with them concerning any queries they have.
  6. Oversee the day to day running of Raisonné Publishing
  7. Manage general administration for all Raisonné projects, this includes but is not limited to the facilitation of peer review processes and liaising.
  8. Write proposals, letters and copy as required. This may include letters to clients and sponsors, PR material and material for the website.
  9. Assist with and comment on image collection as necessary.

Qualification
Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a Masters in History of Art

3 relevant experience in the art industry

IT literate
Able to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic

Own transport required.

Salary
R21,000 (negotiable)
Two-year contract position (renewable)
